An April 26 article in The Wall Street Journal says male actors are throwing themselves “en masse into workout boot camps, enviously eyeing each other’s bulk.” Why? Because if you’re going to take off your shirt before the camera, “you’d better have the narrow waist and huge guns of an animated Disney hunk.” The muscle mania is so strong that even comedians are jumping on the bandwagon.
