Doping allegations against Armstrong began in 1999. A dozen or so years later, he was stripped of his Tour de France titles, and now, Lance Armstrong has Uncle Sam on his tail. The Justice Department has filed a complaint against the illegally performance-enhanced cycling superstar, saying it paid $40 million in false claims through a contract between Armstrong’s cycling team and the US Postal Service from 1998 through 2004.
