Since 2003, the FBI’s “Operation Cross-Country” program has rescued almost 3,000 teens from sex-trafficking operations. It’s latest effort began Friday, July 26 and lasted 72 hours. During that time, the FBI conducted sting operations in 76 US cities and arrested 150 pimps, according to a July 29 Fox News article. Agents rescued 105 teens ranging from 13 to 17 years old and one victim who was only 9 years old. Modern-day human trafficking is on the rise.
