August 28, 2013

putin-medvedevOn August 26, reported the Wall Street Journal, Russian authorities raided a newly-opened, aptly-named St. Petersburg pro-gay-rights art gallery, The Museum of Authority. Police confiscated a painting depicting Russian President Vladimir Putin arranging Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s hair, both clad in women’s negligees. Dmitry is especially alluring.

The latest issue of The Socionomist covers Russia’s attempts at homosexual repression, which tie in to the authoritarian vs. anti-authoritarian conflict that is escalating internationally. We expect to see more taunting of Russian leaders with infuriating caricatures, and more repression.
