A January 5 CNN Money article says President Obama’s rising poll numbers are a “good economic sign.” The article points to such factors as a 5% rise in GDP; rising consumer sentiment, which is aided by gas prices; and an improved employment picture in 2014—the best year for job growth since 1999.
