More Americans admit to smoking pot than ever before. Newsweek’s current Special Edition – Weed 2.0 – features a giant, neon marijuana leaf on its cover, and asks the question, “Is Our Country on the Cusp of a Pot Friendly Future?” Presently, 23 states have legalized medical marijuana. But the federal government still regards it as a Schedule 1 drug, and most of the current batch of Republican presidential contenders are opposed to legalization.
