So said The Wall Street Journal, in an article which also said seven million delinquencies represent 17% of all such borrowers – and that the figure actually excludes borrowers still in school.
One higher-education expert said, “Each new crop of students is experiencing the same problems …. The entire situation isn’t getting better.”
