Michael Lewis’s non-fiction bestseller The Big Short is coming to the big screen. Like the book, the film tells of four contrarians who shorted the housing bubble in the mid-2000s. The all-star cast includes Brad Pitt, who recently said he’s skeptical about so-called financial reform: “There’s something seriously wrong … You talk to the experts now and nothing’s changed. The same practices are still going on.”
The Big Short opens on December 11, and is on our must-see list.
