President Trump signed a bill in May to roll back bank regulations created nearly a decade ago. The Dodd-Frank law was passed in 2010 in the wake of the global financial crisis. It was the most far-reaching change in U.S. financial regulations since the Depression-era law known as Glass-Steagall, which was repealed in 1999 near a major positive mood extreme.
